Places to Eat and Drink in the Local Area

Fort William is the largest town in the Western Scottish Highlands and it is an ideal base from which to explore this wonderful scenic region. One of our big advantages over other towns in the Highlands is the number of good pubs and quality restaurants in Fort William and the wider Lochaber area. From Morvich B&B you may walk or drive to a number of excellent pubs and restaurants. The area is renowned for the quality of its shellfish, game and beef. We recommend that restaurants are booked in advance; the good ones book up early so to avoid disappointment please consider booking in advance of your trip.  We have listed below a number of pubs and restaurants that we are happy to visit ourselves. There are many others in the area too.
